RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

As we do not carry stock items of wallpaper and all wallpapers are to be ordered in as per customer, we cannot offer returns/exchanges if you have over ordered or if you’ve ordered the incorrect products. 
For this reason, we also do not accept returns for change of mind.

With calculations that you provide they must be emailed to us and be exact. When we calculate the quantities its is a precise method and if your measurements are different to those provided it can mean that an incorrect quantity is calculated. If you have someone installing the wallpapers for you , please have them calculate for you, they can map out pattern repeat according to your wall. We cannot accept returns or refunds if the sizes are found to be incorrect.

We and our suppliers take extra care in packaging all items, if an item has slipped from the the box faulty from mishandling in transit please contact us ASAP and we will be happy to offer you a refund or exchange or reorder more.

We do not take responsibility or offer returns/refunds/exchanges for faults arising from installation. 
Please check your wallpaper for defects prior to hanging, and thoroughly read and follow the hanging instructions on your wallpapers label. We highly recommended you use our preferred paper hangers to avoid having wallpapers incorrectly installed.

In the event that the Wallpaper Lane gives its agreement it shall be a term of the agreement that the Customer will pay all reasonable costs including freight costs and a surcharge of 30% of the invoices for the goods. 

Any return or refund must be discussed within 2 weeks of purchase.

We order from numerous suppliers and hundreds of products that are in stock from all around the world! On the occasion that the stock has run out or the supplier has decided to no longer make the wallpaper, we will give you the opportunity to reselect or we can refund you the full amount.

INSTALLATION OF WALLPAPER PRODUCTS

In ALL cases follow the manufacturer’s instructions. We highly recommend our preferred installer be used to avoid mistakes and disappointment. Professional installers have a lot more experience if there was something to happen unexpectedly with the paper.

All manufactures of wallpaper will have their own instructions for when it comes to installation. If you hire your own installer or installer yourself You are responsible to following all instructions, should there be a mistake we take no responsibility for your method. If the supplier has forgot to supply the instructions contact us immediately and we will organise those for you prior to installation.

CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY OF RECEIVING GOODS

It is up to each customer to check the order once it has arrived. Check the code and colour is correct before unwrapping goods. 

FAULTY WALLPAPERS

There is the odd occasion that wallpapers arrive faulty from the production process. Faults can include shading, miss prints and creasing. We sincerely apologise if this does ever happen to you order and remember we are a phone call away to help so in the event this might occur.

Please ensure all rolls of wallpaper are inspected prior to installation and no claims can be made once the paper is installed.

Should there be a fault you MUST immediately stop, call us and email photographs and we will send a claim for a replacement once the fault has been assessed. Unfortunately, no claims can me made for installation costs.

PRICING

We try to offer the best prices possible on all of our wallpaper ranges and some prices are a set RRP by our wholesalers. In the event you have found a competitive price please CONTACT US and we will also see what we can do for you. Freight and handling plays a huge roll as all wallpapers are imported or delivered to us, so we have tried our best to keep prices competitive and have a fair freight rate. All prices are subject to change, our wholesalers will sometimes give us notice overnight of a price rise and this will need to reflect in our online prices immediately. 

SHIPPING

We offer a flat rate of $25 on all orders and Express Shipping may be available for selected orders, of course depending on supplier stock location and availability. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any question about shipping, or read more here. Please always include a physical address on your order so goods can be sent to you, no PO Boxes are acceptable. 

PURCHASING OF WALLPAPER ONLINE

We cannot guarantee the accuracy of colours and sheen effects on your screen. The display of colour depends on your screen settings, resolution and on the light of the surrounding colours. Please if you are unsure contact us and we can send you an image of the paper in real life or request a sample should one be available. 

CARING FOR YOUR RUGS- CARE INSTRUCTIONS?

Wear and fading

The best way to keep your jute rug clean is to vacuum regularly so that dirt and dust doesn't build up and rub into the fibres. Vacuum regularly without a brush, in the direction of the weave.Rugs are subject to wear and tear over time and can become faded if exposed to direct sunlight. Rotate regularly to minimise colour change and damage.We do recommend the use of an underlay. This can prevent movement or slippage and also help to protect flooring underneath.

Spills and Spots
Treat spots and spills immediately with warm water and pat dry with a clean cloth or paper towel.If necessary, sprinkle baking soda onto the rug, allow to sit overnight to absorb lingering odour Clean up pet accidents immediately. Remove solids with paper towel and blot up urine quickly. Mix white vinegar and water in equal parts, using a clean cloth gently dab area clean. Cover the area in baking soda to help draw out the moisture and eliminate odour.

Shredding
Strands of jute can sometimes pop out of our hand crafted rugs. Loose fibres should be twisted and pushed through to the base of the rug. Never pull out threads, this can cause damage and holes.Shedding is to be expected initially, and you may discover a fine layer of dust under your rugs.

Odour
As our rugs are shipped in sealed bags, odours from dyes and fibres can accumulate during transit. This odour will naturally dissipate over time when the rug is removed from its bag.
